1. Who May Use ThriveRBT

Our Services are designed for individuals who are at least 13 years of age and are preparing for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification exam. By creating an account or using our Services, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Account Registration

Certain features of ThriveRBT require you to create an account. When registering, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep that information up to date. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Use of Content & Intellectual Property

All content available through ThriveRBT — including practice questions, explanations, flashcards, glossary terms, study plans, graphics, and software — is the exclusive property of ThriveRBT or its content creators and is protected by U.S. copyright and intellectual property laws.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the content for your own individual, non-commercial study purposes only. You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any content;
• Sell, license, or commercially exploit any portion of the Services;
• Share account credentials with others or allow others to access your account;
• Scrape, crawl, or extract content using automated tools;
• Attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, or tamper with any software or system.

4. No Affiliation with the BACB

ThriveRBT is an independent educational platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or any other official certification authority. All practice content is material created for study purposes only. "RBT" and "BACB" are trademarks of their respective owners and are referenced here solely for descriptive purposes.

5. Payments, Subscriptions & Refunds

• Pricing: All fees are listed in U.S. dollars. Applicable taxes or transaction fees are your responsibility.
• Payment Processing: All payments are securely handled by Stripe. ThriveRBT does not store your full payment card information.
• Subscriptions: If you purchase a subscription plan, it will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle at the then-current rate. You may cancel at any time before the next renewal date through your account settings.
• Refunds: We offer a 3-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. Full refunds are issued with no processing fees. No refunds will be issued after 3 days. Refunds may also be denied if a significant portion of the content has been accessed.
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Continued use of the Services after a price change constitutes acceptance.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use ThriveRBT only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

• Using the Services to cheat or commit academic dishonesty;
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other user accounts;
• Uploading or transmitting harmful, offensive, or unlawful content;
• Engaging in any activity that disrupts or impairs the performance of the Services.

7. No Exam Guarantee

ThriveRBT provides study tools to support your exam preparation. We do not guarantee that use of our Services will result in passing the RBT certification exam. Results vary based on individual preparation, effort, and other factors outside our control.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Content may contain inaccuracies, and we reserve the right to update or remove content at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ThriveRBT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Services. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total fees you paid to ThriveRBT in the 6 months immediately preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ThriveRBT and its team from any claims, liabilities, damages, or costs (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time if we determine that you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct harmful to other users or our platform. Upon termination, your license to use the Services ends immediately. You will not be entitled to a refund of any remaining subscription time unless required by law.

12. Geographic Restrictions

ThriveRBT is currently available to users located in the United States only. Access from outside the United States is not permitted. We use IP-based geolocation to enforce this restriction.

13. User Interaction Recording

To improve our website and services, we use analytics and session recording tools that may capture your on-screen interactions, including navigation, clicks, scrolls, and other activity during your visit. This information may be processed by third-party service providers acting on our behalf. By accessing or using this website, you consent to the recording and processing of your interactions for analytics, quality assurance, and service improvement. 14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Services following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
